About this calculator

The CGPA Calculator aggregates your GPA and credit hours across multiple semesters into a single cumulative GPA (CGPA), and also converts the result into an equivalent percentage using your institution's grading scale.

Frequently Asked Questions

GPA reflects a single semester's performance, while CGPA is the credit-weighted average of your GPA across all semesters completed so far, giving an overall academic performance measure.

Divide your CGPA by your institution's grading scale (commonly 10) and multiply by 100. This calculator does that conversion automatically using the scale you specify.

It depends on that semester's credit hours relative to your total - a semester with more credits has a proportionally larger effect on your overall CGPA than a lighter semester.
